The key to a profitable AdSense web site is good unique content.

If your AdSense web site doesn't have interesting original content, the hard work have put into your AdSense project may well go to waste. That certainly doesn't have to happen. Even if you are not one of the world's greatest writers, here are a few tips to make your Google AdSense content articles fast easy and helpful to your readers. Good unique content means better search engine ranking, more visitors and more AdSense ad clicks and more money in your Google AdSense account.

1. Choose a topic that will generate income

Start off by doing keyword research about the topic you want to use. You can use the Google keyword tool for free to do your research. Go to: www.adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal

Type in your main keyword and click on get keyword ideas. Use the columns to display drop down menus that show estimated average CPC (cost per click) and the approximate average search volume. This important information tells you how much people are bidding on each keyword and the approximate average monthly number of search queries for each keyword.

This is important information to have because, since you get a percentage of the bid price, you will be able to see how many people are actually searching for your keywords.

2. Write your own unique content and use the keywords in your article.

You should write your articles so the visitor can easily read them. Sprinkle your keywords through the copy so the Google software will relate to your content and place the appropriate AdSense ads on the article page.

Put your keywords in your title (very important) and use subheadings to insert your keywords as well. Write short paragraphs and try to put your keyword near the beginning of the paragraph. Do not stuff keywords into your articles. Don't forget you are writing for your visitors, not Google. Another writing tip for the web is to use lists or bullet points. You can use the each bullet as a sub heading. This is also very helpful since most people like to scan information on the Internet. By using lists or bullet points this will entice the reader to read your content.

3. How often should you add new content to your site?

I would suggest that you write at least 1 to 2 new articles a week for your web site. Each article should be about 300-500 words in length. By adding new and unique content every week you will increase your rankings in the search engines.

4. Submit your articles to article directories.

This is the first step to getting good back links, from authority web sites to your AdSense web site. There are multiple advantages to submitting your articles to article directories.

* You generate traffic from visitors of the directory that read your article.

* Get one way links to your site for your chosen keywords.

* Get known as an expert in your field.

* Use the directories to research topics to write about.
